Jane Betteridge is an artist and tutor who
lives in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, UK with her husband and two
daughters.
Her love of painting and drawing stems back as
early as she can remember but took a back seat whilst her children were
growing up.
Attending
watercolour classes from about 1996, reignited that interest. Jane went on
to gain an A Level qualification in art and eventually a City and Guilds
teaching certificate. Jane taught at Ivanhoe Community College for a number
of years.
Jane has
exhibited her work for a number of years and has paintings in France, United
States, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. She held her first solo
exhibition in 2008.
Jane holds
regular workshops at Ticknall Village Hall in Derbyshire. She passes her
knowledge on in a very relaxed and happy atmosphere. Needless to say, these
days are very popular and are booked up very quickly. |
